ICT Focus
Magazine will be celebrating the First Anniversary of its launching
on February 8, 2003 in the presence of invited guests, dignitaries,
leading businessmen, ICT entrepreneurs and professionals. In addition,
several events will be held in high schools and colleges during
the month of February 2003 to mark this occasion.
ICT Focus
Magazine has been making an unprecedented contribution and creating
impact on the Ethiopian society, institutions, businesses and individuals
about the roles that ICTs play for economic and social development
in the country. ICT Focus, during the past one year of its existence
has been able to promote the use of the technology, community access,
human skills and good regulatory environment for ICT development,
etc. In its effort to expand the number of ICT users and increase
peoples ability to use the technology to the full, ICT Focus publishing
will launch an ICT publication in Amharic, in the near future.
On the occasion
of its first anniversary, ICT Focus is conducting a Writing Competition
that focuses on Information and Communications Technology specially
for students.
