Writing Competition - Details for Computer Centre Students

On the occasion of its first anniversary, ICT Focus is conducting a Writing Competition that focuses on Information and Communications Technology specially for students. ICT Focus is also offering a 20% discount on the subscription fee for students displaying a valid student ID.

The details of the contest are given below:-

Topics
Topic One: ICTs in my daily life
Topic Two: How the Internet is changing my life
Topic Three: Computers and the Internet, tools that help us find solutions to concrete problems
Topic Four: Are computer and the Internet essential in our daily life?

Terms and Conditions
A student can send only one entry. All writing entries must not exceed three pages (from 1000 to 1500 words). The writings can be submitted in English or in Amharic. All writings entries must be submitted by post, email or in person before January 31st 2003. We shall not be responsible for any postal delays and shall not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Submitted writings will not be returned.

Eligibility
-Should be a student enrolled in a computer center or a person who graduated from a computer center.

Prizes
1st Prize A book entitled "A beginners Guide to Computers" - ICT Focus Magazine on CD- ROM - Free Subscription to ICT Focus Magazine for 12 issues
2nd Prize A book entitled "A beginners Guide to Computers" - ICT Focus Magazine on CD- ROM - Free Subscription to ICT Focus Magazine for 6 issues
3rd Prize A book entitled "A beginners Guide to Computers" - Free Subscription to ICT Focus Magazine for 6 issues

-Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and such requests will not be entertained. Prizes shall not be transferable.
-Students should write the details given below in a paper and must send it to us along with their writing
