Sc. Program in Computer Engineering to be Launched
The Department
of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Addis Ababa University
has announced that it would offer an M. Sc. program in Computer
Engineering as of September 2002.
According to the announcement, the applicants should possess a B.
Sc. degree in Computer Engineering. The Head of the Department revealed
that Electrical engineers could also eligible to apply for the program.
Initially, the Department would admit 15 students.
The commencement of this program in advanced education would increase
the number of postgraduate professionals in computer science. It
is to be recalled that the Mathematics Department of the University
had earlier announced the commencement of a similar program to prospective
candidates.
