Ababa University Launches M.Sc. Programme in Computer Science
The Mathematics
Dept. of the Addis Ababa University (AAU) has announced to prospective
candidates to register for its M.Sc. programme in Computer Science
that it is going to start beginning from the Academic Year 2002/2003.
The Programme aims at equipping the students with the state-of-the-art
of the Computer Science.
It was learnt
that the applicants must possess a University Degree and meet the
general SGS admission requirements and the final selection will
be based on an entrance examination.
The announcement
further reveals that the programme would be conducted in two options:
Plan A and Plan B with minimum credit hours of 24 and 30 respectively.
The students could be enrolled in either of the Software Engineering
and or Systems Units that the University would initially be offering
the courses.
The news release
further disclosed that the final draft of the Curriculum had been
submitted to the concerned bodies of the University for review and
eventual approval.
