Background
The era is critical
for researchers and information professionals in the developing
world. One major problem is the selection of a wide range of methods
for information storage and dissemination.
The method also
depend on the type of organization and its personnel. On the other
hand, information is not always formatted in such a way that educational
institutions and publications can make optimal use of valuable sources.
Therefore, the data-formatting dilemma must be squarely addressed.
And, the most use-friendly, cost-effective solution to data-formatting
dilemma is the digital library.
In formal learning libraries are at the center of the Schools. More
importantly, libraries are at the center of schools. They are also
essential in supporting informal and professional learning beyond
the formal school system. However, in developing countries, libraries
lack resources and hard currency to purchase the much needed resources.
Faculties in these universities expressed the desire to solve this
problem. Besides this entire problem, universities in developing
countries are determined address this need. Primarily because development
is so obviously important for educating the coming generation.
