ITSC Technology Support to Conduct Firewall Certification Course
A
new Certification course for High-end Network Support Professionals
is to be conducted at ITSC Technology Support in coordination with
a British based IT company. According to its Technical Manager,
Ato Tsega Hawaz, the certification is the first of its kind in Ethiopia
and consists of the three Internationally Celebrated Credentials:
CCSA, , CCMSE.
It
was learnt that CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Administrator)
is a foundation level certification that validates a candidates
ability to configure and manage fundamental implementations of Check
Point’s flagship product, FireWall-1, as an enterprise level
Internet security solution to protect corporate networks.
On
the other hand, CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert) certification
is recognized as the industry standard for Internet security certifications.
CCSEs possess the knowledge and expertise to configure VPN-1/FireWall-1
as an Internet security solution and virtual private network (VPN)
that securely connects corporate offices and remote workers, protecting
information exchange and granting access to network resources.
The
third certification, Check Point Certified Quality of Service Expert
(CCQE), is the premier certification for professionals skilled in
network bandwidth management. CCQEs are tested on their ability
to configure, implement and manage bandwidth policies using Check
Point’s FloodGate-1.
And
finally, the Check Point Certified Managed Security Expert (CCMSE)
is an advanced certification for security professionals implementing
Check Point’s VPN-1/FireWall-1 and Provider-1 Internet security
solutions.
