College and Cyber Soft P.L.C. Sign Agreement
The Unity College
and Cyber Soft P.L.C. signed an agreement on June 15, 2002 to computerize
the Library services, the Financial System and the Registrar's Office
of the College for the 1st phase of the computerization programme.
After the signing
ceremony, the Company demonstrated the software programme that it
had developed for the Addis Ababa University to undertake similar
functions. It was learnt that this same programme would be customized
to serve the specific needs of the College.
Among other
things, the system will enable to track the history of each student
from registration to graduation, and determine the academic status
of students for each semester.
It is hoped
that the computerization process will enable to provide efficient
and timely provision of information in the activities mentioned
above.
